LAHORE: Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan has arrested an Afghan national in connection with the National Directorate of Security (NDS), Afghanistan’s premier intelligence agency.
The suspected NDS facilitator
was apprehended during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) conducted by FC in Balochistan.
FC along with other law enforcement agencies conducted IBOs in Musa colony and Sangan areas.
The security forces also recovered weapons and ammunition including explosives and communication equipment from the area.
Moreover, residents of Sibbi, Talli and Dera Murad Ja
mali voluntarily deposited illegal weapons to the security forces.

day after Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor Baj
wa urged Afghanistan to “do more” in terms of countering cross-border
terrorism.
Security forces are conducting IBOs in different areas of the province as a part of military’s counter-
terrorism operation.
